Unpaid internship experience

I have been working at an unpaid internship for about one month now. An internship is a good way to get experience in a field you want to enter. An unpaid internship may not be as appealing as a paid internship, but at least you’re not putting money down upfront (like you do in college).

I am a digital marketing intern at HireCream. HireCream is a hiring platform that helps companies find and hire skilled workers in the realms of writing, design, digital assistance, and web development. They filter out candidates using AI. Overall, HireCream makes it easy for employers to find qualified talent. HireCream boasts a success rate of 99%. HireCream is a risk free platform with a money back guarantee.
I found HireCream on LinkedIn  when I was searching for entry level jobs or internships in the digital marketing field.

My duties as a Digital Marketing Intern include:

  •   Finding websites that accept guest posts
  •   Writing responses to Reddit questions about internships
  •  Writing articles about the job process

and

  •  writing articles about technical careers

Takeaways

I have learned new ways of promoting and marketing a website. Also, I learned about how to find back links for websites. I found out that Quora is a good place to promote yourself online. I was tasked with writing responses to several dozen quora questions.(some questions were lazy, and some were well-thought and intelligent) Quora is a powerful tool you can use in your internet marketing pursuits. I will consider using it in the future to promote my brand.

It’s great getting feedback on my assignments. This role reinforces my confidence in my writing abilities. I will use the experience that I generate at this internship to find paid roles. This internship has been my stepping stone into the world of digital marketing.
