Humble Farm Boy
A historical Piece
This is the first rhyming poem I wrote. This one is about the hero who flies high above the skyscrapers and watches crime with a watchful eye. This is a rhyming poem that maintains a rhyme scheme throughout. This rhyming poem goes out to the man of steel!
Humble Farm Boy
When you see this man
You will believe a man can fly
higher and higher into the sky
When you see him fighting crime
You’ll wonder, “How can he do this for such a long time”
He’s like a rocket man flying with his fist out
If you’re in trouble he will come out
He’s the humble farm boy
Yes he grew up on a farm
He could tackle bulls with one arm
Yes he’s the humble farm boy, farm boy!
He doesn’t even boast with all that power
Not even when he’s hopping over a tower
Not even when he’s flying by the coast at the speed of light
With all his might
He’s an extraterrestrial!
He’s made of different material!
We all know he’s a bulletproof man
I’m one of his biggest fans!
He’s the humble farm boy, farm boy!
Yes, he wears his underwear on the outside
He has a big heart on the inside
If you knew him you would say he doesn’t have too much pride
He’s the humble farm boy, farm boy!
He flew out of the comics like a comet
Strength, character, integrity he’s the embodiment
No need to say his name
He has a lot of fame
He’s the humble farm boy, farm boy!
He’s an original but he’s not a gangster
Nor is he a prankster
He’s the humble farm boy
You can not deny his ability
He maintains his humility
and his invulnerability
He kicked off the golden age
He was all the rage
He’s the humble farm boy, farm boy
With a slouch and a pair of glasses
he fooled the masses
What I say is true
His disguise is something they couldn’t see through
He’s the humble farm boy, farm boy
Yes sir, he’s the humble farm boy, farm boy
Have no fear
The man of tomorrow is here!
Don’t mistake him for a bird or a plane
He’s the main man
He uses his heat vision
With great precision
The man is an icon
Someone you can count on
humble farm boy
Indeed he’s the humble farm boy
He’s the humble farm boy
